Okay well, he has less than 2 months to find someone to fight and be realistic guys...Bradley and Alexander should not fight Khan with two months notice. A fight like that needs promotion and for each guy to come in top shape....that wouldn't happen. For you guys saying he could fight them in August...NO he can't. It's Ramadan in August which means he'll be fasting for 30 days.....so any fights in August, September and October are completely out of question as most guys have 6 week training camps right? The guy is doing well to fit in a fight on such short notice and Katsidas is a great clash...yes he's a lightweight coming up, but who else can he can with respectable pop and a good name on such short notice?? There's no one in the Junior Welterweight division who would be ready or willing on such short notice...Katsidis would be willing because he is a warrior...and it would be a good keeping busy fight for Khan with a big puncher.

No one can criticise Khan taking this fight in July if it does happen. Khan v Maidana won't happen until fall regardless. So it's either Khan v Katsidis in July or Khan v No one. I thought Khan and Warren moved aside from Kats at Lightweight. Kats is a puncher who will test Khan's chin and probably be there for the distance at least. How can anyone criticise Khan if he steps in the ring 2 months after an 11 round match, against an opponent as dangerous as Katsidis?

While the names are being thrown around, I really would love to watch Katsidis vs Madiana, Khan can fight someone else, but I would love to see the fireworks between Katsidis vs Madiana

How can people criticise Khan? He wants to fight in two months before Ramadan to keep busy.
Clearly this probably isn't enough time to prepare for Bradley/Alexander [Maidana is 'injured'].
All these guys are very very young. Khan is 23, Maidana, 26, Alexander, 23, Bradley 26. They will eventually all square off. And when that happens they will be in their prime. If they want to fight people like Katsidis, Prescott, Kotelnik to improve their game and get more experience then I'm cool with that.

people forget khan fought at 135 less than 2 years ago and was considered small against kotelnik
kats is legit, hes a friggin huge lightweight anyway and most importantly will put up a gatti like performance against khan so its gonna be an exciting fight regardless
difference with berto is he never fought at 140, aint a small WW and at the time of the urango fight was in boxings most loaded divisionComment

ill believe it when i see it. kas is smaller, but he has the power to test khan. i dnt think they are gonna take that risk against kas, might not be worth it.Comment

show me were in the article he says he'll fight katz, its made up, they twisted the quotes to make a story, he wont be fighting him, he'd be mad, maidana is an easier fight, katz' D is pretty solid, id actually pick him, i honestly cant believe people think this would be a ***** move, gobsmacked, katz is seriously underrated, he'd be a better win than any of bradders or alexs wins, lol at people thinking weight would be a issue, katz is a huge LW, Khans only had 3 LWW fights, hes tall but really lean, if anything it would favour Katz at 140.Comment
