I cant really say who is faster, some people thought shane mosley was faster than floyd but what happend there.

For me i dont think its speed that is the key for these two if they ever fight, for Floyd i think the key is his timing and for pacman i think the key will have to be his footwork.

I agree, I think Pacquiao is faster than Mayweather. It's not by much like the TS is trying to make it sound. However, Pacquiao is somewhat faster than Floyd.

I always said Floyd had decent hand speed. He makes people think he is fast because he times everything extremely well. Yet, evidence of Floyd not being supremely fast is in the Judah fight when Judah was beating him to the punch most of the early rounds. Which would be before Floyd adjusted to him and got the timing down.


Even then, I know what this thread is trying to get at and I am against it. I think the timing would be the deciding factor in this fight, unless Floyd is fighting underwater against Pacquiao.

Pacman isn’t fast as Floyd at all. He looks fast against one dimensional fighters. Look what JMM did to Pacman, he countered him easily and hit him cleanly.

Again, just because Pacman throws combos doesn’t make him faster. Floyd is quicker if we look at one punch at a time. Why are *******s using training videos and shadowboxing as examples. It matters when it's in the ring.
