I personaly thought A the occasion got to him, and B (which prob should be A as it was a big factor) he looked like he felt the fear in katsidis, cant say i blame him, i said coming into this that these are 2 of my current fav fighters, and I hope the best man wins, i firmly believe the best man did, katsidis is an admirable guy aswell as fighter!

Katsidis v Mitchell

I posted on this forum / site for The past couple of months. I also stated that Katsidis will win & "WIN BY KO" I backed Katsidis on Betfar to win by KO ($3.65). I know Michael very well & spend time with him in Thailand. I know the amount of training he put for this fight. He (Michael) knew if he didnt knock Mitchell out it was going to be near impossible to win & could be his career finished. AS for Mitchell & his people saying the're not making excuses, well thats exactly what the're doing.

Mitchell is such an idiot..running his mouth against Khan prior to the fight, Khan at least is preparing hard for his fights. Mitchell can look forward to fight some european bums this year , hopefully he 'll win those fights, cause at this time, he is not in the mix in his division, good for him, I didnt like his skinhead music entrance anyway. He can go an fight MMA, his music taste as well as his tatooes is a good match for MMA.

LOL, you have got to be kidding.

He was getting demolished in there, was hanging on the ropes and was unable to defend himself. Not stopping that fight would have been verging on criminal.

The details seem a bit vague "i had a few late nights", if he was out pissing it up im not too impressed.I paid eighty odd quid for a ticket,was at the Johanneson and torres fights aswell.I was always going to go to the fight being a west ham fan and to support a local boxer, but generally you get the big arenas and occasions after you have won a world title.Perhaps he thought he was already champion?, I dont know.
I hope he learns from it and drops back to super feather.
Like Katsidis though since the Earl fight, exciting fighter and will go anywhere to fight, good luck to him.
They should at some stage try to lure him back to fight John murray, that might be interesting.

I hear people say "Mitchell shouldn't have overlooked Katsidis". How the **** was he possibly overlooking him? If he is then he is a complete dead****. He was up against a guy who had a better resume than him, has proven a great deal more in the sport and has been in with far more accomplished fighters than Mitchell. Overlooking him? Give me a break.

He got ****ed up by a better, tougher fighter. End of.
