The only reason people paid to watch this fight was because most people knew Mosley could derail Gayweather.. what everyone forgot was that Mosley and Gayweather are business Partners and that they all knew there is a LOT more money in everyone's pocket if they allowed Gayweather the victory. Mosley showed how easy it was to have KO'd Gayweather if he really wanted too but KNOWS that he will prolly make a whole lot more money down the road with his Gayweather partnership without having to step in the ring. Pacman is no business parter with these MFr's and he will put Gayweather to sleep!! PHUKK Gayweather, Mosley and GBP!!!

Keep in mind, ticket prices today are absurdly higher than they were in 1996. These numbers are misleading.

It's just like movie ticket sales; Avatar would never have broken the record(s) held by Titanic and The Return of the King, but it released in 3D theaters where the tickets were nearly 3 times as much as those other movies.

Same could be said about Pacquiao vs Clottey....I mean Clottey didn't throw more than 10 punches in the fight....maybe he was paid just to show up and serve as a punching bag....and you talk about sleep? that's what happened to a lot of fans who paid to see the so called P4P best....they fell asleep....

You've got to be kidding me - no legit reason to criticize Mayweather?? I hope that you just mean his skills...because as a person he is an ignorant **** with a loud-mouth and nothing positive to say. You think that's good for the entire sport of boxing? Definitely good for his financial future - but as a fellow fan of the sport and the history of the sport - Mayweather as a person is doing nothing for us. Boxing could be so much bigger if it werent for self-serving ****s like "money" mayweather.

he does that to sell fights hes a class act in the ring and after fights hes humble grow up man **** talking has been going on for ages and it works because people even buy the fights to see him lose. I admit this 24/7 was a little overboard with floyd but who cares????

and thats the beauty of his marketing plan. he wins with people that love and hate him.

Attention: Floyd fans, and boxing fans alike...

This question will no longer be acceptable for deflecting/changing the tone of a debate...

99% of the fans on this site have agreed, and stated that they are all for OST's, and cleaning up the sport...

                    Time to change tactics.

                    That is all.

Why didn't Oscar have to do that to sell fights? Why didn't Sugar Ray have to do that to sell fights? Why doesn't Pac have to do that to sell fights? I think you have the growing up to do my friend...Class is not a switch that you turn on and off - either you have it or you don't. Mayweather: Skills: check, Speed: check, Chin: check....Class: hell no
