These lames kill me with all that combo talk. Combos are sometimes overrated. Take Pacs infamous 10 punch combo against Cotto for example (somebody has it on their sig). Dude only landed 2 of those punches. Or look at the combos he threw on clottey. Smh. Floyd may only throw 2 or 3 at a time, but he lands every punch... No need for that wild ****, he has a steady controlled attack which happens to be the best in the game right now. Look at ODLHs combos against Floyd in their fight. Dude wasn't landing none of that ****. Yet the crowd was hype... Smh

Its also good in that you can keep your opponents on the defensive.

If you throw 10 and land 2 it can look better to the judges than throwing 2 and landing 2. 8 blocked punches still count for more than nothing. Also if you can keep throwing combos your opponent has to focus more on defense and cant return fire.

pac controls his opponents with his output. floyd controls his opponents with his defense.

they both control their opponents. i don't see your point.

They are offensive geniuses in different ways. Floyd can control his opponents by getting them to miss and stinging them with a counter shot. They get tentative because they don't want to be tagged clean like that again. Pac's ability to shoot in, hit you with a flurry of punches and get out troubles fighters because even if only 2 land, having to dodge all those punches, which they can't, then getting nothing off in return is frustrating and demoralizing. They are the greatest of this era. I cannot wait for them to pit their skills against one another.
