It's not percentage accuracy that is important but the landed punches that hurts you that is important.

It is the hurt game knowing oyur landing your punches to your opponent means your skillfull enough to duck counter etc..

you have a point TS, but i don't think pac could land the same number of punches when he fights mayweather. hard fight to call. all floyd's opponent got a huge reduction of their punches every time they fight floyd. see marquez and mosley, marquez got an average of 36 percentage of landed punches but got short to 21% when he fought floydie.

So wait wait wait.. Pacquaio is supposed to be a master of defense according to you right? I mean, he has the highest work rate.. That's why he never got hit by Cotto or Clottey, right? Because he punches more than his opponent? It's not always who lands the most, it's also the fashion in which they land them. If someone dodges, ducks, weaves and outworks a 4-5 punch combination and land 1-2 clean punches themselves, even if they take 1-3 of the punches, the clean punches would give more.. At least in my opinion and on my scorecard. Again, I guess it's personal preferences, but I sincerely think your logic is flawed.

For Pac

Pac-cotto (336punches) + Pac-clottey (246) = 582 punches

For Mayweather

May-Marquez (290 punches) + MAy-Mosely (
208) = 498 punches

Pac = 582 punches landed

Floyd = 498 punches landed

It's the actual punches that landed that is important bro. Hurting your opponent is what counts.
