Mayweather was letting go 3 punch counterpunch combos at the drop against Mosley. His hands for those counters were so incredibly quick, actually reminded me how fast he is.

He's throwing them, but they're just too fast for your average non hardcore fan. Watch closer.

Basically he didn't need combination punching to defeat them, thing is, he wont need combo's to beat Pac either, just the 1-2 and a good straight right.

But yet and still he beats his opponents with ease. Even though this was a dumb thread I will say you forgot to add in Judah, Hoya, and Hatton which he also mostly threw one or two punches at a time. Could be more but them are just the ones I know definitively right off the top of my head.

Compared to pac's 15 punch combo's.. geez so if you think mayeather has technic why don't you tell your guy to learn to throw combo's like Pac.

1-2 punch combo won't cut it if he fights pac.

And people say Mayeather is a technician.. His punches are amateurish compared to Pac's 15 punch combo.

Last 2 fight mayeather keeps on going for the 1-2, 1-2 punch.. That's all he can do? A whirlwind like PAC will pick him apart.

I'm just stating a fact that Floyd's 2 fights after his brief retirement has been a 1-2, 1-2 punch show. Floyd want to reset and go back to his defensive mode in his last to fights. All I'm saying that if he sticks to that style.

He is going to be in deep trouble with the pacman. Pac will throw diff combos. Will come in angles, 1-2 punch won't cut it if he wants to defeat pacman. To defensive will result to a clottey like bashing. He has to man up and engage with some combo's. 1-2 won't cut it.

Floyd might have lost a step really.

floyds 1-2 punching style is perfect for beating pacquiao because after floyd throws a punch or 2 he's not goin to be there any more so how will manny be able to hit him

I agree, it was mainly a duck and single right all-out punch technique. I thought his father taught him to look at his opponent when he punches. This style, he learned from Pacman.

It's not about how much you land more on your opponents, it's about how much less you make your opponents lands on you..Who in the sport right now can do that better than Floyd?
