As a special preview for HBO Boxing fans leading up to the highly anticipated Arturo Gatti-Floyd Mayweather world super lightweight pay-per-view title fight, HBO Sports will present the exclusive re-broadcast of two intriguing showdowns:
On Friday, June 24 at 10:45 p.m. (ET/PT) and on Saturday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT), HBO2 will air ARTURO GATTI VS. MICKY WARD II and FLOYD MAYWEATHER vs. DEMARCUS CORLEY.
Then on Saturday night, June 25th, two of the sport's most accomplished prizefighters -- GATTI vs. MAYWEATHER -- will meet in an HBO Pay-Per-View showdown from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. Many observers see this fight as the career-defining moment of both fighters' impressive careers.
The HBO2 service replays concentrate on the memorable Gatti-Ward II slugfest from 2002 when Gatti rebounded for victory in the second meeting of their historic trilogy, plus the hard-fought 12-round battle between Mayweather and Corley from 2004, an encounter won by "Pretty Boy" Floyd.
