BLARG! Gatti's excuse has already been revealed. Typical in boxing these days...

    Gatti-Mayweather presser!
    By Matt Richardson
Plans for separate press conferences to keep Arturo Gatti and Floyd Mayweather apart didn't work out as planned Wednesday in New York City. Gatti arrived about an hour late, while Mayweather showed up a half-hour early. Gatti spoke to the media for a bit, mentioning that he is having trouble making the weight, but wouldn't say what he currently weighs. Mayweather disrupted things by taking off his shirt, jumping up and down and yelling. Gatti went to the podium and told Floyd, "Mayweather, I'm knocking you the f#!@ out Saturday night." Mayweather stated, "On Saturday night, I may take him into deep waters. I depends upon how I feel. I'm going to crush him. Mark my words, I'm going to crush him." WBA champ Vivian Harris then got into a verbal altercation with Mayweather and security had to come to the podium to separate the two. (More to come)

        good for vivian harris.

i discredited mayweathers win over corrales because corrales suffered from a one two punch before he ever got into the ring. he couldnt train properly knowing he was going to jail and that his wife was court ordered to get the purse from the fight.

i'm surprised corrales went through with the fight.

on a level playingfield the outcome could be different.

I bet you most people who will be rooting for Gatti, are betting their money in favor of Mayweather. And as for Gatti's weight issue? Nothing new there.

No doubt, everybody know Gatti has trouble making 140 and if he comes in at 140 and weights 170 so be it. He has done it many of times and this isnt an excuse as to why he will lose. Especially considering the size discrepency between him and Mayweather.

Gatti wouldnt beat Mayweather in the best of shape anyways.

It's almost scary, how good Mayweather is... still, someone like Gatti who can go high-pressure and can take a punch has a better chance of beating him than most.
