I don't think Amir Khan fears anyone, I think the reason he hasn't or isn't fighting Alexander or Bradley next is due more to his management who Khan can't really say no to, he can't tell his matchmakers to give him a specific fight because they make the fights for him, they get him the fights and it was already in his teams plans to fight Maidana next. if Maidana has another out of nowhere injury I don't think they will feed him to Devon or Timothy they'll give him Victor Ortiz or Zab Judah, excellent opponents but battle scarred which is why they fed him Marco Antonio Barrera when they did..

this is why I like MMA more and more as seconds pass because the reputed best always fights the other best guy, for example Brock Lesnar will most likely end up fighting Shane Carwin and Cain Velasquez back to back while Amir Khan might end up fighting 2 fights against guys we don't really want to see him fight, in MMA you fight good guy after good guy until you lose then it's back to the drawing board which is why there is such a difference in records
