My respect went up for Khan a little bit, he out boxed Paulie a b- fighter. But I think he's making a mistake ****ing with maidana. Maidana has nothing to lose and hits like he's got a ******* in his glove. I'm not forgetting Khans glass jaw, it only takes one hard punch. If I had to put money on this fight, I'd put it on Maidana. IMO Maidana is just too much of a puncher for Khan to handle.

If Khan beats, Maidana then I would rate him, until then I see him as a hype job.

Don't worry Burner, this is the usual post-fight reaction after we see a good win. Everyone starts involuntarily masturbating. After a few weeks when it settles down, people talk more sense. Maidana would spark Khan out.

There's no way on earth Khan is fighting in July, he'd have to have new training camp (he trained 9 weeks for Malignaggi) and enough time to practice for Maidana's style. They'd need to promote the fight as well. There's just not enough time.

August isn't a boxing month and up until mid September it's Ramadan (sp?). Any fight with Maidana is likely not to happen until October.
Before today, he was talking about fight in July again. www.ringtv.com has a story of it. They said they want to go the Prince Hamed route. Fight often and fight in the states and the U.K.

And, they said they want to fignt in July and then again in the fall.

But, yea it might need more time to develop.
