A punchers chance is all Maidana and Ortiz would have. They cannot outbox Khan. FACT.

To be fair to Khan, what JWW wouldn't get owned by Bradley or Alexander.

Those are the top 2 guys of the division.

I think Khan has the #3 spot.

      And, then is everybody else.

Yes!, this is a great test to Khan if his china chin improves under Roach or if he could better protect it, and we'll only see this if he will be put against one of the big punchers MAidana! Bring it on, now!!!

Know this. Amir WILL be tagged at least once by Maidana with his best shot. If he weathers that storm and wins it proves that although his chin isn't granite, it won't let him down in his biggest fights.

this is exactly wot everyone was saying wen a young mayweather fought gatti...we all now wot happened there right? did u want to know how mayweather won tht fight? THE JAB, and this guy has the best jab at 140, he was catching paulie left right and center, and maidana who is a stationery target, arghh, this will be a mismatch trust me, also, under roach i dont see khan rushing into a shot like he did with prescott

Khan was excited after a great win and wasn't thinking straight. July is less than a month and a half away.

There's no way on earth Khan is fighting in July, he'd have to have new training camp (he trained 9 weeks for Malignaggi) and enough time to practice for Maidana's style. They'd need to promote the fight as well. There's just not enough time.

August isn't a boxing month and up until mid September it's Ramadan (sp?). Any fight with Maidana is likely not to happen until October.

I have too. Still doesnt change the fact that he hits hard as ****. Maidana isnt this great fighter but he uses his strengths well.

If he lands a bomb on Khan its curtains. So its a good test for him. Khan didnt even look comfortable when Paulie put pressure on so it will be an interesting fight.

Maidana is tough. He was knocked down three times yet showed the heart of a true warrior and came back to stop his challenger.

Kahn was unable to come back when knocked down and show the same mettle that Maidana showed. Then his team & promoters cherry pick boxers that have little power further tarnishing him. Until he faces a real threat at Jr WW people will be wondering if he can really take a punch. The fact that they choose Paulie was evident last night. They choose a boxer with little punch in order to showcase Kahn's boxing skills against a weaker puncher. I do not believe Kahn will be able to fight the same fight against a skilled fighter with a decent punch ala Bradley or Alexander.
