The reason Mayweather is a jerk is because of publicity. He was not getting as much publicity as a lot of other fighters who are not as good as him. He admittedly decided to play up the bad boy image. He's just doing it to make people want to watch him fight. It doesn't matter if you want him to win really bad or lose really bad you still want to watch him. That's what its all about.

Yeah, i know he has to sell himself anyway he can to get plp to tune-in but still come'on, you dont air out another man's personal problems like that on tv unless he did the same thing, which Gatti hasen't (unless im wrong). I enjoy watching lil Floyd fight because he has a beutifull style, but i just think he should give Gatti the respect he deserves like anybody who steps into the ring!

Gatti has not beaten anyone near Floyds level. And everyone Floyd faces says Floyd hits harder than they thought he would. Having heart and power only gets u so far. Floyd has superior footwork, defense, hand speed and is far for accurate of a puncher.
