Glad to see this observation and bring it to attention as well...

    Thumbs up!
No way the way Toney looked is "natural." He is on steriods. Toney looks very much like Tyson now, and this is only a year after moving to the heavyweight class.

In boxing, among top heavyweights, Jirov and Sanders seem to have natural looks. I am not sure about the others.

      you were 145 ...

      did you use proteins ?

BTW i used steroids on medical purpose , the amount of the intake was far away from the one of a bodybuilder and still i got bigger and had more energy and recuperative capacities.(well i was VERY weak so maybe that s why the effect seemed so strong)

so i can tell you that it s quite possible tonet juices up, he has all the side effects i suffered ( his bones must be gettin bigger too)

Brewster looks natural, i hope Toney is not using steriods, i have alot of respect for him, but i can't back a fighter using any type of drugs. hopefully he just worked hard for a month and toned up, it is possible.

Actually i used to realy like Toney. **** talkin doesnt bother me. BUt he has been hyped up so much as the best HW it's laughable. In another thread were discussing Toney/Jirov 2. And I say Toney beats Jirov again in another great fight. I just know that any legit top 10 heavy will put James out. Toney is the latest hype job and I don't like that

This DOES, however, delay a Toney title fight. He was negotiating with HBO for a December date. Now that won't happen. He's likely to vacate his WBO ranking - I don't know if the injury will hurt his WBC standing or not. I imagine Vitali or Williams schedules another fight in the meantime - a rematch if Danny wins, perhaps, or Vitali might fight a Monte Barrett while waiting for Toney.

Apparently a lot of fighters didn't pay the WBO their sanctioning fees. Toney is nowhere to be seen on their rankings. 1 and 2 are Whitaker and Wlad.

I guess he wasn't interested in fighting Brewster. That makes sense since he was ranked high by the WBC, too, where the "recognized" title is. I wonder why he cared about the IBA belt, then?
