but it wasnt and paulie was fine when he got up so couldnt have been that good a bodyshot . khan hit paulie over and over with flush punches and didnt wobble him at all once the way hatton did in 2nd round and again in 7th im sure it was . khans power aint that good tbh no point trying to act like it is

lol give khan some props paulie was clearly hurt definately in the last couple rounds and his face was rearranged.

Khan isn't the biggest puncher but he has some good power. He was technically sound I thought as well and of course, his hands are so fast.

I still think Alexander is the best at 140 though.

Gotta love Steve Smoger. He knows exactly when a fighter has had enough. He will let a guy take a good amount of punishment, but he knows a fighters body language better than anyone.

are you kidding me ? usually, Smoger lets fighters take way too much unecessary punishment when the issue is already clear....

if you want to see a brutal KO, hire Smoger

Hatton out muscled Paulie, whereas Khan actually outboxed the slick boxer..which is much more impressive to me..

wasn't that too be expected though? I mean the way paulie was fighting, paulie was fighting with some intensity the first half of the fight and not moving around punch and was trying to trade with khan.

Khan and Ortiz looked good but tonight's fights told me nothing about what they would do against better comp at 140...Khan had all the advantages tonight, and Nate did his best Clottey imitiation...

I agree, Khan and Ortiz both looked good but I think I was more suprised about how badly their opponents were fighting. Campbell looked shot and Paulie just got broken down, I thought he was fighting totally the wrong fight coming forward like that but even if he didnt it might have been the same result. Khan was impressive but I still wonder how he would do against a dangerous 140lber like Maidana. Hopefully we will find out in his next fight but I wouldnt be suprised if Roach matched him up with Ortiz instead...

If its a Tournament style they want to pull with Bradley, Alexander, Khan and Maidana, The two Top seeds (Bradley and Alexander) should Not be matched with each other. 1 & 2 never face off first.

It should be: Bradley vs Khan or Maidana & Alexander vs Khan or Maidana

Winners face off.

No point in bringing that up because I changed my mind on the topic when I saw better video of the fight. You can go in the archives and look up the topic and see evidence of that.


Khan did great, I don't take that away from him. I just don't like the stoppage. It was fishy when they were inticing Paulie into quitting before he came out to fight.

Exactly what I'm thinking. Khan think he's ****ing slick. He's hoping Bradley and Alexander take each other out. While he fights as many feather fisted or shot fighters that he can. Hell no! Alexander should call him out ASAP. don't run Con!

At the post fight interview he called Maidana. Maidana's not considered feather-fisted?
