Comments Thread For: Amir Khan-Paulie Malignaggi Early Results

In a few short hours, WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is going to make his American debut in New York's Madison Square Garden. Khan is taking on former champion Paulie Malignaggi. I think the most exciting part of the figth happen yesterday at the weigh in! I have a feeling that the best fight will be between Ortiz and Campbell.

I can't wait.... already have the beers, bacardi and the posse is on it's way!!!!!

it looks to me that the fight might hold out to the expectations, one has a glass chin and the other one no power at all. We might see a lot of "1,2 and hold" from the magic man.

Kahn is mostly hype and has never fought even close to the caliber of Malignaggi, only with the exception of an aging and slow Marco Antonio Barrera. Paulie has been in with "A" fighters and only been stopped by Hatton. Cotto, Hatton and Diaz I would imagine could KO Kahn pretty easily. Kahn is in for a total suprise, Malignaggi is no joke of a fighter.

Dont think Diaz could KO Khan he doesnt have 1 punch KO power and I dont think Khan is that slow to be in the way of Diaz combos, but it could happen. Other than that your right, Malignaggi has been in with better opposition, and harder punchers so its going to go all 12 lets just hope paulie can be definitive with his win otherwise hell be robbed guaranteed.
