Comments Thread For: British Pressure: Khan, Mitchell, DeGale are Ready

James DeGale vies for his first professional title tonight on the undercard of Kevin Mitchell’s WBO interim title challenge to Michael Katsidis at Upton Park, London. DeGale, who famously likened himself to Marmite, fights Dudley’s Sam Horton for the vacant WBA international super-middleweight title, and is expected to pick up his first piece of pro silverware.

    Fuck DeGale.

    Gavin is Britain's next ATG.

Btw, DeGale wants to win a world belt at SMW and move up to fight at 175.

Either one or both the brits are losing today. I think Kats beats Mitchell and Khan beats Paulie. I also think Kats is underrated as hell by some people in the boxing-world. Will see tonight, maybe I'm overrating Kats.... Will soon find out.

You could be right. Mitchell may have bitten off more than he can chew. Katsidis is going to pressure him all night and if Mitchell wins he we have gone to hell and back. Khan has yet to take as tough a fight as this in his whole career. Mitchell has to be given a lot of credit for just taking the fight.

What an interesting day for English boxing. I think the Brits in all three fights will prevail.

Nah mate, kats is proven, even if he loses he is one hell of a fighter, a loss means little at this level, just cause you lose it does not mean you are over-rated, only people who dont understand what its like to fight think like this, if kats was losing to people in his first 15 or so fights, then you can say he was over rated, but the guy is proven, you have to be a very good to hang with kats trust me.
