If you take 1% of the fighters purses, that will substantially defray the costs.

The SB's should also kick in for title fights. What do they do with their money other than make pretty belts?

Think of this: rowing, cross country skiing, taekwon do, and curling are subjected to in and out of competition testing. How do those sports pay for it? Do they have less money than boxing?

      Good points
Boxing is a dangerous sport to begin with and even more so with peds i hope this is the start of something positive, but only time will tell. Drug testing wasnt even implemented on a wide scale until around 2002

Hell, make the promoters pay for it!!

GBP and TR and GTP, etc make tons of money. Make them fund it.

Arum makes a lot of money off Pac. Money isn't even a factor, IMO.

Can these tests detect steroids? I mean, it doesn't matter anyway, cause I have nothing to hide.

The money is spent. But it does affect legacy.

Do you view Mark McGwire and Marion Jones the same way as when they were achieving those performances?

                  Yes. You are right.

Which is why you must adopt the best testing available. We live in a different era.

Hell, I'm su****ious of Usain Bolt and he IS undergoing the best testing.
