What's everybody's gripe with Paul Williams being ranked #3 P4P?

I'm asking this because I saw the Yahoo rankings, and the only guys on there that have a better body of work overall are Pacquiao and Mayweather. Skills aside, I didn't see anybody else on there with a better resume than Paul Williams. This is the truth. Why can't some people on here put their hard feelings aside and realize that Mosley, JMM, Martinez, and even Dawson and Adamek don't have a better body of work than Paul Williams. When I say that I mean when you talk about what have you done for me lately.

And don't bring titles into this **** either. Mayweather didn't even pay for one when he beat Mosley's ass.

What have Casamayor or Diaz gone on to do? Nothing. Tarver is a frigging TV commentator. Adamek has went on to be successful at higher weights. But outside of that I don't see anything that impessive about Chad'e resume. And yet Sergio Martinez went on to beat Pavlik. Margarito put together a three fight winning streak despite being wiped out by Mosley. Now the reason why you can't rank Martinez over Williams P4P is because of the head to head match up. It's just being biased. Do people rank Clottey over Cotto P4P? No, they don't. And even though it happened a long time ago Martinez does have a knockout loss to Margarito.

To sum it up, the only two guys that were on that P4P list that I could see giving Williams a run for his money where competing on a P4P scale goes is Dawson and Martinez themselves. Dawson's resume is good too, but he is a lot more inactive than Williams. And I explained the deal with Martinez.

So what's everybody's problem with Williams being at #3? I'm not on any nuthugging ****, because unlike Burner I do admit that Williams has flaws and I don't think he could beat Hopkins even at this stage like Burner does. But I think the guy gets way too much hate and not enough credit.

Williams team don't want to rematch Cintron, when Cintron was beating Williams.

All Williams fans can say is that Cintron would have folded in late rounds. But there's no proof of that!

And this thread is coming from someone who thinks Williams looks vulnerable and ready to be beat. I'm just saying resume wise, I don't see anybody with a better one.

Pacquiao would KO Williams, Williams fights small. And the fact that he is going to look like a crackhead trying to make 147. Terrible ****ing defense, and he doesn't even fight tall. He fights to the size of his opponent, Williams gives every advantage to his opponents to win the fight. The ****er is like Margarito, Williams has no regards for defense.

cuz his only good, clear win was vs plasterito a couple years ago.

winky was shot coming off a 2 year layoff at the age of 50 i think.
sergio got robbed, **** what sergio's dumb ass said.
quintana schooled him then paul got lucky in the rematch(lol quintana beat a p4p#3 fighter).
cintron was on his way to schooling paul.(al haymon and hbo know this thats why they refuse to make the rematch).

paul williams is not the 3rd best boxer in the world and ice tea knows this.

Paul Williams deserves a fight with Pacquiao more than Margacheato.
And what risk is it seriously? I think Pacquiao would rip Paul a new ass hole since Paul doesn't even fight tall and has bad habits like fighting small. Also, why is someone who got caught with plaster even in the mix for Pacquiao? Williams might have a freakishly large arms yet I never really seen him use his size to his advantage. Williams likes to fight close-up, he doesn't even really use his reach!

pound for pound is not all about resume. i may be the only one that thinks this way, though.

How did Cintron school Williams when they both landed close to the same amount of punches? Unless you're going by percentage. But everyone knows Williams is a volume puncher anyway. A judge even had Cintron winning every round. So quit with the whining and accept the fact that Cintron ruined the fight by being a candy ass.
