I disagree with your thread title. I believe the excuses will start before the fight, just as the did with Mosley and Hatton. First the haters claimed that Floyd would never fight Mosley. Then, after the fight was signed, they claimed that Floyd would back out of it. Once they realized the fight was going to take place,, they claimed that Mosley would destroy Floyd because of his power and speed. The last few weeks before the fight, the excuse threads started popping up about Mosley being too old, so Floyds win was anticlimactic.

If the Mayweather/Pac fight is signed, the same thing will happen. In the two weeks leading up to the fight, there will be 100 threads posted about how "small" Pac is compared to Mayweather and how "distracted" he is because of his political concerns.
