Hi, i have been into boxing for many years and I just started training.
I recently came accross a gym in my neighborhood of Hawthorne, CA called Sweet Science Boxing & MMA.
Supposedly Rico Ramos trains there and Genero Hernandez nephew trains there. It's supposed to be owned by Darnell Walker, Rico's head trainer and Jimmy Smith who is on some Discovry Channel show Fight Quest.
I did see Lamon Brewster walk out of there so thats what made me look into it.
Anyone heard anything good or bad about this gym. Is it strictly pro? There seem to be some good guys coming out of there.
I think I am going to check it out see if I can get some good sparring.
I'm 29. Never really boxed before but always wanted to.
