I have watched Mitchell train at my gym and he has really improved under Jimmy and Mark Tibbs to the point where he has really surprised me. There is no question untill recently he has a padded record but recently he has started to step up and Katsidis is no joke ,this is far more dangerous fight than when Khan fought Kotelnik. I really don't see Khan being on a higher level only having a lot more media attention.

Murray isn't Katsidis, though - Katsidis would destroy Murray, Mitchell will be competetive with Mike at least.

There hasn't been any inordinate fanfare over Mitchell coming up these last few years. If anything, Khan nicked the shine off him, so I don't follow you - Mitchell is a skilled kid, bags of determination and heart, definitely solid contender level.

And FWIW, I've been one of the realistic Mitchell fans on these forums. Murray is not in his class.
