I actually think the PR and publicity machine around Khan court controversy and hate to get attention.
Why do you guys hate Khan so much?

Ive been a pretty big fan thus far and have rooted for him in all his bouts Ive been aware of, but I am rooting against him this weekend for two reasons:
1) He is talking a lot of **** for someone that hasn't fought anyone and ducked his mandatory. Floyds **** talking is annoying but at least he backs it up to a degree.
2)I am a pretty big fan of Malinaggi. I didn't like him because of his mouth, but he won me over with his performance against Cotto. This is his chance to really shine and become world champ after all the **** he's been in the last few years.
That said, this is also Khans chance to show us a great performance against a battle-tested vet like Paulie. If he does pull off the early KO (which i completely doubt) then I'll damn well give him his props.Last edited by paulf; 05-14-2010, 01:55 PM.Comment

Okay here: Americans or the rest that hates him do so for boxing reasons e.g Talking too much without doing so much, Ducking his mandatory etc,
Some British people that hate him do so because of his race (Pakii- In the Uk is a racist word and Khan gets called that word all the time)....
Am not a big fan of Khan just like i wasnt a big fan of Hatton because i like to see you prove things in the ring not the media selling or telling me how good our british boxer are when they duck fighters who they knew would give them problems.Comment

I agree. I understand what Bradley's tring to do, but it doesn't look to good from a PR perpective. I think that should have say a double header with Bradley vs Abregu and Alex vs Mabuza, then have Bradley vs Alexander later. But if the fight can be done next, that's cool too because Bradley isn't known for ducking anyone but that's starting to change with some people.Bradley vs Alexander is going to happen. But I think Bradley is right in wanting to get paid a decent amount of money to fight a beast like Alexander. Why get paid peanuts for a fight you stand a good chance of losing? I mean Bradley vs Alexander is the biggest fight outside of Mayweather vs Quackquiao IMO. So somebody needs to wave enough money to speed up the process.Comment

1) Ricky Hatton was very popular even in America.
2) Naseem was HBO's biggest PPV attraction and loved by american fans even after 9/11, lol. ( hated by his opponents though)
Khan's personnality is pure garbage to me, i liked him and defended him a lot back in the days, but "i can see clearly now..."Comment

You are wrong on both things. Hatton and Hamed was never popular in america, I'd be surprised if any american who is not a boxing fan even know who they are.1) Ricky Hatton was very popular even in America.

Neither Hamed or Hatton really got any credit in the U.S.Comment
