    The biggest problem with Floyd

Was that he wasn't able to entertain people outside of the ring as he wanted to. I remember when the first 24/7 happened and his intentions seemed to be to try and become the new Prince Naseem or new Ali, but he doesn't have the charisma for that. His jokes are usually corny and his one liners like "floyd mayweather fight is like the superbowl" aren't memorable. And it's not really his fault, as colorful characters like Ali and Naz are born, not made, but I do blame him for alot of the hate that comes his way. He tried to be the lovable anti-hero but that failed because his confidence is mistaken for arrogance from the general public and not the good kind of a Chad ocho cinco, but the kind people hate. And his boxing style dosn't do him any favors like it dos for the PAcquaio's, Jones, & Tyson's of the world.

Floyd should've just been himself when he reached mainstream notoriety

Diehard boxing fans might see Floyd's shtick as corny, but we ain't the targets for his persona. It's about attracting the casuals, and it's worked. Floyd became a big star by doing the villain thing.
