Definitely not "Yanks"
We support boxers of all kinds of creeds and colors. Look at Manny, or Floyd, or Cotto, JMM, etc. None of them are white and they get more support here in the States then say a Klitshko or a Pavlik. I remember wathcing a UK stream of the Khan-Kotelnik(sic)fight because it wasn't shown in the States. The live chat was enabled and I couldn't even concentrate on the fight. All I could think was "you mother$%^%^ are racist!!" Not all of you, obviously, but the message was clear. And it's gotta be a reflection of everyday life there. I highly doubt Amir is the only drak skinned person in the UK that gets **** like that.Comment

I'm not talking about playful banter, either..
Joking or good natured jabs or fine, but that genuine hate of somebody based solely on their race or religion is just f'kn pathetic. It's 2010 for crying out loud.Comment

A white schoolboy left for dead by a hammer-wielding gang of Asians has insisted the attack was racially motivated.
I would prefer it if white, black, asian simply condemned those bad individuals instead of defending their faith / colour but that's never gonna work as you can see from people like Dirk's comments. ****, he'll probably say this white kid is being racist for making the accusation such is the world we live in.Comment

Your intuition is pretty **** on, all my friends are white, but there is a underlying racist attitude in the UK...big time! I have lived in california as a kid and its not nearly as much of a big deal in that part of the US. You guys are streets ahead of Britain and Europe in terms of racist attitudes. Apart from certain parts of the US like the south /souteast which is very racist so I hearWe support boxers of all kinds of creeds and colors.
