Mayweather has the best offense in boxing. Not Pacquiao.

He's definitely the most crafty and accurate, but Pac's offensive style is more crowd pleasing and that's why most people overlook Floyd's offensive style..Offensive i would give the edge to Pacquiao simply because he can hurt you at any angles..But overall we all know who the all-around Boxer is..

To me, an offense like pacquiao, which is unpredictable, overwhelming, powerful, fast and from all angles is a true definition of amazing offense.

To even compare Calzaghe's slap-style offense to Pac's shows how little you know about boxing.
I agree but too bad no one will see or realize this. When Floyd can win a fight on Offense alone, then I will say he is better than Pac (offensively) until then he isn't. Floyd is a helluva offensive fighter but not better than Pac.

Floyd is so good he doesnt have to win fights on just throwing punches.

If thats the case Williams and Margarito have GREAT offenses.

I'd have to say Mayweather has the best offense/defense in the sport & his transitions between the 2 is incredibly fluid.

We cant confuse workrate with "great offense". I see that alot on this site. I wasnt gon make this thread in fear of all the flaming but It had to be done.

A great offense isnt just throwing alot of punches at high speeds.

Pacquiao vs Oscar power punches connect %: 59%

Pacquiao vs Hatton power punches connect % : 62%

Pacquiao vs Cotto power punches connect % : 49%

"Just throwing alot of punches at high speeds" LOL.

another thread that shows that Pacquiao is the most underrated active boxer on NSB.

I'm not gonna flame but Pac's offense isn't just work rate. He has so many dimensions to his offense it's not even funny. Yes he has a high work rate, but you can't just his offensive style in a box like that.
