There are a ton of boxers who spar with guys bigger than them. This isn't anything new. For example Vic Darchinyan (115) recently sparred with Zab Judah (147) in preparation for his bout against a southpaw opponent. I don't see the big deal in hyping Floyd or Pac up in this situation because It happens a lot in boxing (sparring with bigger men they yourself).

Another case was a 130lb version of Edwin Valero destroying a 154lb version of Oscar to the point that he was sent home.
I remember James Page dropped Oscar in sparring. I mean, literally dropped him to his back. Page was sent home as well.

Baldoimir and Judah were welterweights. Delahoya was a jr middlweight. I guess you missed Mayweather's career.

Floyd sparred with middleweights way back in 2001 when he fought Corrales. This is not ***** talk either. If you guys were around boxing for that period of time then you'd know that.

And just to add on to this, when Mr. Mayweather was competing in the amateurs, he went through camps where not only did he spar against middleweights when he was at 116-126 lbs, but he also sparred against pro boxers as well. Alot of gentlemen that post on these forums are either too young to know any boxing history, or have just started watching boxing in the last 5 years, and don't know about boxing that much, which is not a bad thing, or are just simply haters or what I would rather call them which is "fans who show favoritism based on personalities, and personal dislikes, not by skills".

Mr. Muhammed has a great point that if you actually get away from the egos, the hype, listening to commentators, listening to trainers, or media, and just look at the styles, you will see that a pure boxer with even a little bit of defense, can beat an aggressive offensive puncher/fighter that has no defense, if they take a little bit of a chance. Not taking anything away from Mr. Pacquiao at all, because he has improved tremendously as a puncher/fighter, since moving up in weight, but if this fight happens, I believe just like the case was with Mr. Mosley, Mr. Pacquiao will only have a punchers chance, if he can land a big punch and if he does and Mr. Mayweather weathers that storm, I believe that either Mr. Mayweather will either win by KO (most likely based on styles), TKO (very likely based on styles), or UD (probable based on styles).

          Everyone have a great day.
