The only boxer I truly hate would have to be Bernard Hopkins. I know he is a hall of famer but something about him just annoys me.

I don't "hate" any fighter, but I dislike Ruiz, McBride (suddenly he's a real contender? Yeah right), Mayorga, and Trinidad. I don't like Mayorga because he's the least skilled fighter I've ever seen. I don't like Trinidad because of how over rated he is.

I dislike Gatti, to a degree, only for coming in so much heavier than his opponents. That, and he's really ugly. Other than that, I don't mind him, and he's damn exciting to watch.

I feel to a degree that his reputation for being "so entertaining" is a little overblown. I mean, the Ward-Gatti fights were really good, you are not going to hear me argue about that... But other then that he has not been in a real exciting fight since Ivan Robinson way back in the day. Think about it, Dorin was over quick and boring while it lasted. Leija was a sleepy boxing match while it lasted. Even when he fought Oscar it was just a one sided pounding, hell put me in with De La Hoya and I can get my ass beat too! Meanwhile there are alot of more talented fighters who genuinly put on a great show virtually everytime out. Erik Morales has not had a boring fight in years (for instance)! Think about it; Jesus Chavez, great fight! Manny Pacquiao, great fight! Barrera, great fight! Carlos Hernandez, great fight! How about Pacquiao for that matter? He is another guy who just wages war in the ring! Or Corrales, his last four fights have been entertaining as hell-- and against top competition! But for whatever reason, there is this idea that Gatti is just so much more entertaining then everybody else and despite the fact there are fighters who consistently put on just as good (if not better) shows, have more talent, and better credentials, it is Gatti that the media attention and the PPV dollars get thrown at.
