Here we go.... another conspiracy theory. This is all the pro valero fans need to speculate this subject for the next 200 years. The thing about conspiracies is, that regardless of the findings, they take a life of their own.

I imagine it goes something like this in the streets of venezuela...."someone tried to kill him and instead got his wife! Then they force a confession out of him and killed him before he could talk to anyone... the reason, he backed Hugo Chavez".... Oswald anyone!

My bad... I see that we already have some forensic and political scientist on this forum that have the crime solve!!!! After all it was an anti Hugo Chavez faction that murder both!!!!!

I can hear Mayweather now....using the Edwin Valero's exumed body excuse for not wanting to fight him.....

Only way Ill feel bad for him is if he didn't kill his wife. Its ****ed up, don't get me wrong but if he did kill her and the prison guards in fact killed him then I don't feel bad for this guy.

He killed her, he just doesn't 'remember' doing it. And now some people saying he "was drugged". He wasn't "drugged" by anyone one but HIMSELF, and HE thought thugs were following him because he was in a paranoid drug/alchohol enduced state.
Also, it really isn't that strange that they never found the knife. To my knowledge it was never reported that he had ANY of his wifes blood on him, which indicates more to me that he cleaned himself up and possibly even went somewhere to get rid of the knife.... then realized after sobering up that he couldn't eliminate himself from the scene of the crime. After he got to jail he probably got scared thinking "Oh ****, this is going to be the rest of my life". The idea that someone hanged an UNWILLING Valero (who was a beast and would have fought like hell - YOU ALL KNOW THIS) all without any signs of having fought back, no defensive wounds, no bruises or cuts on his body (as seen in the jail celll death photo of him), seems next to proposterous. Do you know how hard it would be to hang a normal unwilling man, let a lone a man who was 27-0 with 27 knockouts and has fought through a gaping head gash? If you saw the photo of the pants in his cell he literally would have had to hang with his knees bent because he would not have been off the ground otherwise. That wall was too low. Whether he killed himself or someone killed him, really isn't that relevant IMO because he just brutally killed his wife after torchering her and her family for (more than likely) years.

PS - this might not be funny to many, but it's a clear indication on how this sport of ours has fallen prey to all sort of circumstances due to the lack of regulations. Can anyone imagine the major league baseball team cherry picking their next opponents? Or even worse, defending their ranking against a AAA team?

This is were we are in Boxing? Once you achive a certian level (either as a boxer, trainer of promoter...) the game lends itself to manipulation through corruption and lax rules.

If you are Freddie Roach (to use him an example), and have a star boxer, you can actually pick opponets to complement his style (alas Khan). The same goes for managers and promoters.

As fans... and regardeless what our differences on this forum we all share the love for this sport. We are all resposnbile for not demanding more regulations and more integrity from all the parties involved.
