    Found this on Haye's homepage:

    http://www.hayemaker.com/news/articl...-to-begin.aspx

It's from April, though, and no other news regarding the fight appeared at the homepage. Which itself speaks volumes IMHO.

I don't expect Haye to step into the ring with any Klitschko this year. But as soon as Vitali retires in 2011, David willl call out how the Klitschkos ducked him for decades and he alone scared Vitali into retirement, and that he is the best boxer of the 21st century. At least.

Haye doesn't want the fight ....and to think that this was the dude that was supposed to be the savior of the HW division.....**** outta here!!...Wlad is the God of the division and Big Vit is God's bodyguard....there's no such thing as the HW division no more....from now on refer to that division as the KLITSCHKO division

        thats like my dream scenario
good plan, i'd like to see that, but the problem is (I think) Haye will have to fight his mandatory after a vol. defence. So a Wlad fight wouldnt happen for a year or more concidering how often Haye fights.

Haye better fight Wlad next or we'll be waiting a long time.

Haye will not fight a klit this year. I think he'll claim that he has mandatory obligations that he cannot get out of.

Whatever excuse he uses the real reason will be that he can milk the title for 10 million per defense fighting stiffs in England. Why lose that earning power by getting KTFO by a klit for 15 or 20 million?

PS: I'm not sure about the amounts I've stated above, but most of you'll catch my drift.

I think there is about as much chance of seeing Elvis on the back of a flying pig as there is of seeing Haye climbing into a ring to face either of the Klitschko brothers.

Stay tuned for Haye vs. Valuev II or Haye vs. Holyfield

If Haye doesn't fight Wlad he'll loose a lot of fans and momentum.

Wlad is being very accododating with the contract terms I have heard. Apparently it's going to be a 50:50 split which is VERY generous from Wlad.

Also, I'd like to give credit to Wlad (and Vitali) for being TRUE world champions. They take their fights on the road all over the world, I mean Vitali's last fight was where? Bloody Switzerland that's where.

I'd be incredibly surprised if he doesn't accept. He's wanted this for way too long to let it slip away, and now that he's a world champion the contract is a far more level playing field so there should be few issues. I don't blame him for pulling out before. Anyone willing to risk their life in the ring for virtually free is a fool. I have no doubts that the fight will happen this year. It has been really frustrating though, and if it were not to happen I'd be very disappointed in Haye supposing the contract was reasonable.

Haye remains silent, this is so embarrassing. How can he not get at least reply to Wlad?

Haye is quickly become a disgrace for HW boxign and if he isn't ready to face Wlad right now then he should retire on the spot and make way for a WBA belt holder who has the balls to unify the belts.

No Haye WANTS a 50-50 split, Klitschkos manager said it isnt happening seeing as Wlad has been champ for a couple of years now and holds 3 titles including the Ring title.

The Haye camp has been really quiet this time around, he might well be forced to accept it or risk being known as the paper champ of the division

Haye will just remain a paper champ and he seems quite happy with how things are.
