**** Joppy! he has no heart, after that weak ass performance i never want to see Jop in the ring again, i knew he would lose but i thougth he was going to try and fight not justs show up and take a paycheck - running around the ring holding his ballz. Even though Taylor is overrated, u gotta be more than just an average pro to beat him. Tito will KTFO his ass, Hops will destroy him ( they have devastating power and more importantly, ACTUALLY THROW PUNCHES ). Taylor was lyin to himself when he said he's ready for Hops, a better test for taylor would be David Lopez, i'd really like to see this fight. Lopez is a tall middleweight and a devatasting puncher with good skillz, only trouble is i know the outcome of this fight - "Bad Intentions" forced to lean back.

the only reason Taylor couldn't finish him was because he was running. i didn't give taylor a chance. Joppy just quit fighting.

I don't think the reason he couldn't finish him was due to Joppy running, I just don't think Taylor could get the job done, Taylor is a good fighter, technically sound but I don't see what the fuss is all about, Eastman would beat him up, I think Strum would and given a weight shift so would Winky.

Joppy is not the fighhter he once was and the person who was saying in a previous thread that they never want to see Joppy in the ring again... well I think it might be your lucky day, certainly not on TV anyway.

Joppy was clearly a disappointment in his lackluster effort against taylor. fans deserve more effort out of a former champ.

Taylor came this close to putting the clown down. People are too hard on him who say he's weak cause he couldn't win by KO. Those uppercuts were brutal. Joppy's dancing was a joke and if he fought like he should have he would have been on the floor in 7 or 8.

Taylor's a smart fighter. People don't give him enough credit for that.

I fully agree. Joppy humilated himself by turning into a girly-man and running for the second half of the fight. Losing is fine, offering yourself for sodimization is not. Joppy should not be paid and he should never be given a T.V. date again. He should be booed everytime he walks into any public arena and parents should tell their children to avert their eyes. His performance was disgusting not because he could not win but because he did not try to win. People pay damn good money to watch these men fight.

I got irritated with him for showing his ass like he did, but I try and see how frustrated he was. Taylor was completely dominating him...after the first 2 rd's I was actually starting to pull for the underdog, but once the 'show' started, and he started disrespecting Taylor by dropping his hands and all that nonsense I was wanting Taylor to knock him out! If Taylor had just opened up and not stopped throwing I'm thinking the ref. would have been forced to stop it ...I think he may have been glad to, at one point he did ask them something like "are either of you going to do anything" ..or something similar
Maybe he will take that payday and retire now ..one can only hope anyway

Joppy is a disgrace to the sport! He should never be on TV again! All he did was show up to get paid and grab his balls! Taylor is the future at middle weight!!! It was hard for him to look great when Joppy was running for his life and clownning around!

I'm glad some other people think it was a b.s. fight. I was mad I had to steal cable for that ****. Joppy has no defense and concedes to blocking pinches with his head just like he did against Tito. He aint Rocky! He should never be on PBS let alone HBO or even Fox. Taylor is still unproven to me and he has shown to get frustrated in the ring on multiple occassions which would lead to his demise against Hops. Tito would flat out KO him inside of 6. I think he needs to figth someone with a punch to get chin checked before he fights the big boys.
