What fighter was in line to earn a shot a Manny? All were either already scheduled to fight someone else or too green. Featherweight division? Super Featherweight division? Lightweight Division? Jr Welter Division? (Don't give me that Bradley crap...cuz that was thrown out there long ago and Bradley was considered too green, Alexander and Campbell were busy with other fights and weren't on the radar) on top of that Pacquiao sparked the s**t out of the lineal 140lb king in a 140lb fight.....

Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, DLH, Berto, Clottey, Malignaggi, Collazo.....

Mosley and DLH wanted no part of Money May when he was in his prime. Floyd would beat all the other guys on your list.

Paulie is B level fighter like Clottey. Berto hasn't done **** to deserve a fight against Floyd. Floyd would beat Berto's ass right now. Blame Arum for not getting Floyd a bigger purse to fight Cotto and Margarito. Arum said Floyd was willing to fight them for 10 million each.

Only a prime Mosley would have a real chance of beating Floyd.

and all that crap. But the truth is , Floyd Mayweather has been the guy to beat since the 90's. Real boxing fans know this.

No matter what you say or what Pac does in his career, he can not
be considered the best until he fights and beats Mayweather. Mayweather is the best.
Thats why he is favored in all of his fights. He will also be favored against Pacquaio.

Frazier was the champ, but he wasn't the peoples champ. Ali was the peoples champ and Frazier had to beat him in ordrer to get full recognition as heavyweight champ.

It's the same thing all over again. Pacquaio is the P4P champ, but Mayweather is the peoples champ. You can call me a ***** or whatever you want, but it is what it is.

Mayweather has been dominating his entire career. No one would be shocked if Mayweather beat Pacquiao. If Pacquiao was to beat Mayweather, that would be a shock. Pacquiao was out boxed by Morrales and knocked out twice. Had two blood wars with Marquez and has been on the canvas several times. Mayweather has never been beat and his only knock downs were from his glove touching the canvas.

Mayweather vs Mosley was a master piece by Floyd, but all anyone wants to talk about was the 2nd round. That was the big news. Floyd got hurt.
We are not suprised when Manny gets hurt because he always gets hurt.
Floyd is the guy to beat and you know it.


Hopefully the fight can get made. Will Pacquiao step up to the plate

Btw if Manny is supposed fighter of the decade then how come the same "experts" who have given him that name, choose Floyd to beat him. How come Manny is the underdog and Floyd the favorite, with most pundits giving the edge to Floyd. Hmmmm

Item #1 - 145lbs is within the WW limit of 147lbs...this was done to death....Cotto diddn't have to sign the contract....he's a grown ass man....he believed he could beat Manny and wanted an opportunity at a nice payday...

Item #2 - Being fighter of the Decade and Floyd being favored to win IF they ever fought are two totally different things.....Floyd being the betting favorite, Floyd being the Supreme Technician (which is not debatable) and Floyd having an undefeated record are all out the door and the defeat at the hands of Manny will be that much more sweeter......

Sidenote.....Pacquiao was also the underdog in the majority of his fights....yet he found a way and thus earned FOTD....don't sleep on Pac....he's proven people wrong time and time again....
