    Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

    THE TRUTH

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and was hurt several times in the fight.

    punches landed

    Vitali 156

    Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted and worn down from the accumulation of punches, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

Vitali intimidated the **** out of the scared Lewis after the fight and made him look like a *****. All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and boo'd Lewis after the fight.

    Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 25 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Lewis wasn't "shot" you fucking idiots

Lewis was 37, that's not really that old for a heavyweight. Vitali is almost 39, came back after a 4 year layoff and is still dominating the HW division.

In the interviews before their fight, Lewis said he was very motivated for the fight and wanted to keep fighting for a few more years.

Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis/Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age."

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Lennox Lewis got DOMINATED and RETIRED by Vitali Klitschko.

That big Jamaican messed him up, man. And he was crafty enough to leave boxing before it was too late. Vitali is not going to go down in history as much because he hasn't faced any names.

Its not sad because it was a great performance win or lose. Its unfortunate for vitali that after lewis retired there were no great or even very good fighters left, that is sad for him, I genuinely felt sorry for him because he deserved a rematch, but lennox should have no obligation to fight on, he has done it all and was right to retire. I don't think lennox was shot either, he was over the hill, but still was very good at the time, he looked like he had taken the fight a lightly, but that is typical lennox...he has done that a few times in his career and it cost him big, against vitali he got away with it.

What I do find sad is when klit fans on here say that vitali dominated lennox, and he was gonna be ko'd when in actual fact he was getting better as it went on. The stoppage was unlucky for vitali but it was the right call and a fair call. At the end of the day he lost fair and square. I also find it hilarious that klit fans compare the brothers legacy to lennox or other great heavyweights...they have to be some of the most diluded fans in all of boxing, its unreal! The klits are legit great heayweights...but they can never **** with the top 10-15, they just don't have the competition that those guys had, and wlad's chin is too weak.

            Vitali Klitschko

            - 37 KOs in 39 wins.

            - has dominated every opponent he has ever faced.

            - great chin, never been down.

            - has never trailed on the scorecards.

            - only man ever to be world heavyweight champ in boxing AND kickboxing.

            - is almost 39 now, came back after a 4 year layoff and is still dominating the heavyweight division.

The majority of the time you give the klitschko's a bad name...they would be much more popular if you ****ed off, or at least start becoming unbiased and less diluded. Get your nose out of their ass and people will respect your opinion more

I have never put one Klitschko fan or Lennox hater on ignore the entire time Ive been here, I dont understand why their fans are so edgy and take everything so personal.

Its fun to argue about fights! But if you are getting your feelings hurt to the point where you cant bear to see your favorite fighter being criticized, it is time to step away from the computer.

Notice the match was a year after his last fight. The only reason he was even in the ring that night is because they were going to strip his titles away if he didnt stay active.

Vitali admitted to preparing for Lennox since the set of Oceans 11 in 2001, and it was much more important to a hungry Vit than it was for Lennox.

The fact that Vitali could not beat an old, unmotivated, slob, despite all this preparation is really quite comical.
