Vivian Harris...This guy talks a lot of **** for such a weak ass resume.

I like Viv Harris and think he may be an x factor in the division but all he does is shoot his mouth off about who is dodging him, the guy has no real big wins period. Sure Urkal is decent but he is probably not the same Urkal that fought Zoo and Hurtado...hell those are his crowing achievements in the ring...

People want to get on Cotto and call him ovverrated and say that HArris will take him out easy...maybe some are overhyping this dude and being a little harder on Cotto.

Harris may be the x factor but we have little to go off of right now except his word, What has made Viv HArris this 140 pound stud in your mind? It certainly isn't his resume so what is it?

    Just Curious?

Harris has talent but to quote Floyd " I dont even know Vivian Harris . Its obvious that hes not making to much noise. IF he was, he would be with HBO."

To me Harris is very skilled but will just be another face in the 140 lb division until he stops ducking fights.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.- "What Vivian Harris eats dont make Floyd Mayweather ****!"

Cotto will beat Harris... He's a better fighter.

I don't know how? But Vivian Harris seems to have become the Citizen Cane of boxing. People think that if they sing his praises they know more about boxing than others.

Well that's just bollox... Just go by the facts. Vivian Harris got out-boxed by Olivera, and the 1st of his two fights with Urkal was a gift decsion.

So I have to ask these "boxing critics" that have jumped on the Vivian Harris band wagon - What exactly has he done and who exactly has he beaten that makes you think he's so great?

          (And please don't say Urkal).

He hasn't done much yet but he's got a lot of talent

He just needs to put it together which Emanuel Steward is gonna help him do...he lost to Ray Oliviera a few years ago but that was so long ago and his matured..

Everyone was sayin Hatton got knocked down by that bum FIVE years ago, but that had nothin to do with today...

He is with Emanuel Steward right now and Emanuel is the bomb...

He will beat Cotto and Hatton....

I will bet every single point I have and my avatar and my sig.

My thoughts exactly...I still am confused by the fight with Hurtado...the guy just quit against HArris...your post is right on.

Sure HArris may be the next big thing but it is a huge ****ing guess (Greatest how many times have you even seen him fight) at this point.

Viv Harris claims to be so great and I myself think he is skilled with a good punch, but the mother****er LOVES mediocrity for some reason.

I love the people who call Cotto overrated and overhyped and then back Harris, when Harris is fighting Cotto's leftovers in Maussa coming up here. If that's not ******ed then I don't know what is.

At least Cotto isn't taking steps back in his career. Viv Harris has been around since '96-'97, yet all hes done to this point is beaten a B level fighter twice and has beaten damaged goods in Hurtado. Now he's fighting a C level guy that was just dominated and KOed by Cotto.

Seriously greatest, I'll bet you every point in your bank that if Cotto/Harris comes off that Cotto beats Harris. EDIT: No **** that **** he won't just beat him he'll KO his ass.

Harris needs to get real if he's ever going to do anything at 140.

Well ThaGreatest... I think you'll be losing points then.

Coming from the UK I'm one of the fortunate people to have seen about 5 of his fights (because of tv channel British Eurosport).

And I like to think I know a bit about boxing.

I've not seen anything in Harris that makes me think he'll beat some of the top guys at 140lbs. Ricky Hatton would walk straight through him, Witter would KO him, Floyd would out-box him easier than any of the others. Harris maybe have a 50/50 chance against Gatti. Tszyu would stop him easy...

Manuel Steward actually pulled Harris out of the Hatton fight because he didn't think Harris would beat Hatton.

I wouldn't bet your points on him.
