I had the pleasure of listening to Floyd at the first Gatti-Mayweather presser. That was the first time he ever graded fighters by class ("such and such is a B-class fighter," etc). He absolutely charmed the press that day - which is probably why the east coast is more favorable to him than the west. Anyway, reporters began shouting out the names of different fighters and he'd give them a grade. Let's just say...he was a pretty harsh critic. Then someone shouted, "Kostya Tszyu!" Floyd's eyes lit up immediately and he said, "A-class fighter! Now that's a fighter I respect right there."Comment

I remember this... Morales and Barerra avoided Floyd like the plague... Mosley jumped two division to avoid Floyd back then lmao... Naseem was like "hell naw" haha...Comment

I think it's unfair to say that Mosley jumped two divisions to avoid Floyd. In fact, I'd say that's false. He, like Floyd, was a supremely talented fighter who was underpaid. He wanted the big fight. And Floyd wasn't it.Comment

yeah I know i'm just making jokes as usual... I know Mosley went after the money as wellComment

Mayweather vs. Gatti was the first PPV I paid for with my own money.. real talk.. After that fight, He change Gatti whole name...I had the pleasure of listening to Floyd at the first Gatti-Mayweather presser.
