Course it does - he respects and appreciates his ability by making it his own.

Yeah, he's really trying to be more like Floyd's character too..But i think out of all of them, Andre Direll tries to be more like Floyd..

Yeah Andre tries but he ain't got the mental strength.

All round I think Andre Ward resembles him most.

I don't know if look up to is the right terminology but if you talking about respecting his fight game just about any slick fighter appreciate Floyd's skill set. You can add a few fighters that haven't been said like Joan Guzman, Yuriokis Gamboa, Zab Judah, Steve Forbes, Demarcus Corley Oscar De LaHoya and even know almost hurts him to admit it now, but James Toney. Dare I even say Pacman? I have seen him add some things to his repotoire such as a lead left (similar to Floyd's lead right but Pac is southpaw) and his body-head attack is very similar to Floyd's. If Floyd-Pac ever goes down. Watch what Pac says to Floyd win or lose after the fight. I think it will be very similar to Pac's reaction to Oscar.
A few of these fighters don't respect him tell they get in the ring with him. Like Floyd said, a lot of fighters think he is easy work till they get in that squared circle. I don't think I would be going out on a limb in saying that you can add Shane to the list. Before anybody attacks me I said a majority of these fighters RESPECT Floyd's skill not look up to him. Boxers know the genuine article when they see it.

Every fighter in amateur and professional combat sports looks up to Floyd. If not because they appreciate his fight style, its because they respect and/or envy his ability to generate bank.. He at the pinnacle, hate it or love it
