But he did state he would question floyd.

The thing is if floyd questions pac and doesn't fight if Pac doesn't take tests then, as much as larry may hate it, thats floyd standing up for his beliefs and being true to his word. I thought thats what honorable men do. So why not praise floyd for being true to his word and not taking the money?

If Manny doesn't take test and say he wont because of principle, then Larry is giving him respect for standing up for his self and not being "bullied". Do you see the contradiction in larry's logic?

Well Pacquiao and Floyd dont. So at th end of the day what you or i think dosnt hold any weight.

Larry can be a little looney sometimes, but he brought up some great points.

Floyd: "Larry, stick to commentating. You're just a commentator. U know nothing about boxing"

Larry: "But that's what i'm doing Floyd, i'm commentating and asking u a question"

LMAO!!! Larry had me in stitches when he said that!

Merchant isnt saying that Floyd is wrong for not going through with the fight regardless. He's only asking if he would be willing to throw away $40m in the process.
Those guys will never get that because they are nuthuggers. Floyd knows Pac could beat him which is why he is making an effort to make sure Pac isn't on anything. All Merchant is doing is basically taking Floyd on his word, as far as Pac being "easy work" or "one deminsional". If he is really that, why the USADA test? The short answer is because Floyd knows deep down inside that Manny is a huge threat. If he wasn't Floyd would let him do whatever, beat his @ss easy, and make 40 million by beating a inferior fighter.

I have never Larry give Floyd proper due on anything he was just bashing him in his last fight. I dont get why people are holding on to these comments so dear to their hearts....its Larry Merchant and he hasnt even pretended to be fair when it comes to Floyd. He NEVER criticzes Pac. Ever.

Why did this reason not pop in his mind?

If I were to follow Merchant's logic, then I assume he doesnt understand why any sport at all has drug testing. Arod will make MLB billions when he breaks the home run record, let him use his PEDs. Insane Bolt will break the 9 seconds on the 100, lets keep him doped up, the IOC will benefit from this.

And on it goes for every major sports out there.
he already said it he's no drug expert so why do want him to talk about drugs? he's not like most of you who like to talk about peds even though you don't know much about it...it's moronic really.

Spinning is exactly what he is doing... he basically admits to it by saying "You can flip that and say" He's using Mayweather saying Pac is a "Easy win" or "Easy work" to spin the whole issue away from Pac not wanting to take the test or being caught.

Also, given the certainty of making upwards of $30, or, maybe $40 million, does he really want to find something? You can flip that and say, 'If that's what Pacquiao has used to move up the scale, and Mayweather believes that he's going to win any way and is going to make all of that money, then he ought to be thanking the drug-maker.'

His whole thought process is blame Mayweather, for the test or if Pac is caught. Not blame Pac for not taking the test or possibility failing a test.

According to Larry, Floyd should be thanking Pac, Roids or not.

No the answer in short was in your post.

"To make sure he isnt on anything".

We can easily flip this and say well why wont Pac just take the tests,, beat hjim easy and make 40 Million by beating a "hittable, pedestrian WW with no legs".

                      Goes both ways.
