I disagree.

He is purposely avoiding the most basic reason for drug testing. Which is ensuring an equal playing field. I mean, go figure.

Why did this reason not pop in his mind?

If I were to follow Merchant's logic, then I assume he doesnt understand why any sport at all has drug testing. Arod will make MLB billions when he breaks the home run record, let him use his PEDs. Insane Bolt will break the 9 seconds on the 100, lets keep him doped up, the IOC will benefit from this.

Larry is setting the table for an excuse if Floyd wins. Pac has had 3 fights at WW against 3 beast and he's not a WW, yet anyone can see that he's bigger & stronger than Floyd was in his first 3 fights at WW and all anyone said was that Floyd is a real WW and should be fighting real WW's. He was coming into the ring at 146 pounds while Baldy was 165. Pac was a good 150 or higher for both his last 2 fights in the ring but he's a 140 pounder. Come on now.

Pac is built like a rock while Floyd was a flat board in those fights with Mitchell, Zab, and Baldy but everyone said he was a true big WW and Pac isnt? Dude knocked Cotto the **** out and owned Oscar & Clottey. All 3 are big guys but Pac is not a WW. I can see that Floyd might as well not even take this fight because the credit wont be there again

I know you havent been watching the sport long but Merchant is a Floyd hater and never has anything good to say about him. So why would this interview be any different?

He didn't just want a drug test thats a ***ing understatement. He wants to manipulate Manny into taking a test thats not required and he tried to do it by first having his camp raise all these questions and drag Mannys name thru the mud and then they asked for the drug test. In otherwords they created suspision first which obviously shows that this was all premeditated and then they ask for the test thinking that of course manny is gonna take the test now that we drug his name thru the mud. But it backfired on them because they didn't take into account that Manny to has an ego and thats something that a lot of the other fighters Floyd fought didn't have.


As larry said it was all showmanship that blew up in Floyds face and now he has no choice but to run with it.

I think that is the 1st time I have read someone put that out there....and I'm sure that Manny's ego is just as big...he just hides it very well....
