serious question: if it was martinez who hit floyd in the 2nd round instead of Mosley, do you think floyd would've been KOed?

IMHO, I think floyd would be hurt, but his conditioning would kick in.

Good question. Mosley has a lot of one punch KO power. Martinez isn't a very big puncher at 154. He drops fighters with shots they can't see, wears them down and exposes their terrible footwork. He also throws very accurately. At 154 Floyd could probably take the punch pretty well. I doubt Martinez would be able to land that shot as accurately as Shane did because the fight would be a chess match, whereas Floyd was trying to be the agressor in the Mosley fight. But at the same time, his arms are a lot longer than Mosley's so you'll never know.

Really no way to say for sure, but something tells me Shane's punches at 147 have more mustard than Sergio's do.

That looked like a KO to me.

Maybe. Thing is, how many times does Mayweather get hit like that? Off the top of my head I can think of 2 other times. That's a very difficult shot to land on a guy like Mayweather.

martinez isn't a big puncher for his size, but he's a good bit bigger than floyd and shane. it's possible it would've hurt mayweather more, and being younger he would've followed up better.

at the most i could see martinez knocking him down. not out though. you've got to put mayweather completely out because he can shell up and take his time recovering

Hell NO. Shane's the much better puncher. Still, that doesnt mean Sergio cant hurt Floyd or knock him the **** out. He's still a Southpaw and could catch Floyd with some clean **** that he never ever see's coming
