Although focussed on his own WBO interim lightweight title fight with Michael Katsidis this Saturday night, London’s Kevin Mitchell, 31-0 (23 early), will be keeping one-eye on events across the Atlantic ocean in order to keep tabs on Amir Khan, who defends his WBA light-welterweight title against Paulie Malignaggi at Madison Square Garden, New York in the early hours of Sunday morning. There is no bad blood between the 2...they are very good friends to be honest, but now tht khan has left warren, its basically warren chattin **** through proxy (mitchell). Its just to get khan to fight mitchell, regardless of who wins, the money would be huge, personally i think it would be a massacre for little kev lool ... anyway good luck to him for katsComment

It's pretty fkn simple why Kahn is fighting Malignaggi , he's going to make more money & more of a name for himself when beats Pauli.
Pauli has promoted himself to a point where (at least some) people know his name. Easy pickings for Kahn & a good choice of opponent really.
Pauli will be sacrificed like a lamb. Mitchell is naive.Comment

Fuck rushing a jump to 140. If Mitchell wins, I wanna see him face the JMM-Diaz 2 winner. If it's Diaz they might go to a 3rd fight, assuming it's a good one again. But Mitchell could definitely beat Diaz. A fight between him and Soto could be pretty good too, but he's probably more concerned with gett8ing the WBO belt.Comment

Kevin Mitchell should have kept his mouth shut and focused on his own fight against Katsidis and left world class fighters like Khan-Malignaggi battle it out.
Mitchell got all big headed and started calling out Khan before he even won against Katsidis, He was humilated in a very bad fashion, And as it turns out Khan will now be probably fighting Katsidis as a tune-up July 31st before Maidana.
AMIR Khan could be back in the ring within two months to face Kevin Mitchell’s conqueror, Michael Katsidis.
Khan wants to fight again before Ramadan begins in August after successfully defending his WBA light-welterweight crown against Paulie Malignaggi here in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Mitchell was dreaming of the Khan fight, If only he kept his mouth shut and focused on Katsidis. How Ironic!
Im glad Mitchell was knocked out, I was sick of hearing about him.Comment
