I understand where you are coming from. And with southpaws, Floyd is more aggressive and he tends to walk them down. But I think with Pea's defense, he would avoid getting hit with a lot of what Mayweather throws. But the thing is, Pea could crack and he was very slick. So an aggressive Mayweather could play into to Pea's hands in my opinion. Although Floyd is my favorite fighter, I would pick and root for Pea to win this fight. Pops been knowing Pea for awhile now and I have always been amazed at his defensive skill set. But I think it would be a close fight, maybe even a split decision.

I love Pea too I just havent found any reason to pick against Floyd. I believe quite a few fighters have faster hands than Floyd, but his one punch delivery is unrivaled. If Floyd ever loses I believe his first loss will come to a Southpaw and against a fighter as good as Pea nobody would have an easy time.

No, I've never met Pea. But I got an autograph when I was younger (not sure where it is now though ). But I KNOW and have meet some of my dad's other friends from boxing, Evander Holyfield, Mark Breeland, Emanuel Steward, just to name a few.

              Great thread.

What weight are we talking here?

Higher weights I would take Floyd. Lower weights pickum. IMO

That is a tactical fight like very few fights in history could match. Of course I'd pay to see it.

I'd take Whitaker by decision, whatever Mayweather gave him Sweet Pea could do.
