That's my problem with this entire ordeal as well. I'll let conspiracy theorists argue his exit from the ring, but there's no way anyone other than his lawyer and Cintron himself can argue that he gave any indication whatsoever of wanting to continue.
I've always referred to Cintron as a camera-ready fighter. He looks the part, plays well on a promotional poster and all that. It seemed like once he knew the fight was over, he was ready to exit on a stretcher just so he could raise his fist to the crowd to solicit cheers.
Of course, that never happened since he doesn't have a fan base, and is instead forced to deal with the aftermath.
Personally, I think they should fight again, but as part of the same pay they received on May 8. Neither one of them earned their paycheck that night, and should be forced to give something back - either their pay or their in-ring services.
