I saw Paul coming on strong at the end of the 3rd round, landing some shots but no bombs. At the beginning of the 4th, the fighters both landed on one another, I thought Kermit backed up but he landed the harder right hand on Paul that had him a little wobbled. He through another shot that missed and thats when he ran into Kermit which caused everything else.

It should be a Kermit victory IMO, i had it 2-1-1 Cintron, the first to Cintron, second a draw, thrid to paul and 4th to Cintron, but it could be even. It was just a terrible fight.

It's almost impossible to hear, so who knows what really was said, but at 1:52 it seems as if the doctor asks Cintron if he can continue and it sounds like Cintron says something about his back... (or is that somebody else's voices, can anybody tell?)



Anyways, there was people close by next to the doctor, so they should be able to verify what was said.

Even if frogger gets a rematch with Paul, or gets matched with berto, hell get his butt handed to him. El perro almost knocked him out towards the last round and that's cuz el perro was sick.

First off, neither fighter landed any bombs. There was about 10 seconds of action the entire fight when Williams stepped up the pressure and landed not 2 but 3 straight lefts in a row, thats what backed Cintron into the ropes. On the 3rd straight left Cintron times a beautiful right hand counter, BECAUSE HE HAD TO! The right Cintron landed DID NOT wobble or stagger Williams the way everyone makes it seem, Paul stepped and ducked while Cintron started a clinch. Cintron was backing up and only seemed to want to counter punch. Paul was coming on but not really landing, it was going to be a good fight and really very even (I had Cintron ahead 2-1). How can you score a round that lasted exactly 36 seconds?!?! If this were a heavyweight bout we wouldn't have seen a single punch thrown!
I kind of feel for Cintron. His only real loss came at the hands of Martinez and Cintron was lucky twice that night and avoided what was clearly a knockout and then a decision loss. No shame in a loss to Sergio, he's so underatedly superb. His other two came by way of sledge hammer plaster fists, you would cry too and feel absolutely discouraged if someone was hitting you with cement, so criticism there is unwarranted( I would bet money that Cintron would beat plaster master without his life threatening advantage). People make big ignorant rants about nothing. This was an even and getting to be very interesting fight and I believe there absolutely should be a rematch.

.. If he wanted to fight he couldve got up and told the doctor to go **** himself and jump back in the ring and fight.. Ive got the wind knocked out of me a couple times when I played football and I was able to get off the floor.. It hurt like a bytch but I didnt lay like i was parylyzed... Cintorn was acting like he broke his neck or his back in there.. If he was worried about a broken rib or wind knocked out of him they dont immobilize you on that board like that.. Thats what they do when they fear for a neck or back injury.. Kermit 'the leaping frog' Quitron musrtve complained of back or neck pain while laying there not moving

And he got some nerve to say he shouldve won the fight.. you dont fight 3 rounds and jump out the ****ing ring and then say you're the winner lmao... Maybe they should change his fight with Martinez to a KO7.. appeal that ****! this guy is a disgrace

I was at my boys house and hes a casual boxing fan who never saw either fighter fight and I was telling him that Cintron has no heart before the fight and he goes ahead and pulls this stunt.. Cintron is a fking joke

I didn't see things that way until you said. I absolutely agree after rewatching the fight about 10 times. I really think he tried to milk this one and I really think he thought he was ahead. Honestly he could have got up, all of us on this forum have taken worse falls or hits and gotten up. I can't believe it but Kermit really tried to pull a fast one. There is a reason HBO won't support a rematch. It would be an interesting fight.... but giving Cintrons' track record, he would just find another way to not 'lose' and also to not necessarily 'win'.

1st of all it's Cintron's own fault, he JUMPED out of the ring!!!

bottom line if Cintron didnt lay there like he was shot in the torso, they probaly would've allowed him to get up....

but no Cintron being the drama queen that he is, forced the doctors to take him seriously and take/make every precaution to treat him as if he were actually injured/hurt.....

I watched the clip over 6 times, CINTRON made NO attempt to grab the ropes he was at least 1-2 feet away from the ropes when he jumped out of the ring.....he's a world class athlete, former wrestler, you can't tell me he could NOT have at least made an attempt to keep himself from leaving the ring....

Cintron thought he was going to get awarded a no-contest and look for another payday in a rematch.....Little did he know this fight was going to the scorecards!!! Too bad Cintron you should have known the rules!!!!

I agree with those that say he should of got up, if he wasn't hurt he didn't have to allow himself to be strapped into a gurney, he should of said F U doc and got back in the ring, like a warrior.
