Of course he has something to lose, he can make more money in 3-4 defences against bums than fighting against Wlad, if he fought against Wlad and lost his title his earning power would decrease dramatically. What excuses will you come up with when the fight doesn't happen again?

I use to defend wlad after his sanders ko, like I have said before I always knew he was a good fighter, arguing that wlad or vitali has a legacy to compete with lewis, and saying that vitali "dominated" lewis is not the way to deal with that situation, if you wanna come back with something comparible, why not bring up haye's loss to carl thompson? Instead of making retarted comments like the klit fans have made in this thread and some of us unbiased fans have to listen to day after day.

Your obviously not that tuned in to the UK market, haye would make money even if he lost to wlad, he is young enough and good enough to rebuild, people would still pay to watch him, he is exciting and the brits love a great loser, ie frank bruno. By that time it would be his choice becuase he would have the kind of money to retire anyway. Even if he lost he could come back and probably make a 7-figure pay day against adamek or vitali or another contender, and if he did well then fight wlad again, so I diagree with your theory about the 3 or 4 fights.

If the fight doesn't happen then we will assess it then, but I believe it will the money is there, as long as haye gets at least 40-50%, or something like the mayweather-hatton split, where it was 70/30 but hatton got all the UK revenue then the fight will happen imo

I don't know what to think anymore. If Haye doesn't have a legit reason for not squaring off against Wlad next, he's going to look pretty bad. And rightfully so. The heavyweight champ is calling out another champ...how crazy is that? Then again, maybe it's all a part of Haye's plan to get under his skin. We'll see.
