Williams fights just like a 5-6, 145 Pound Cotto.

And last but not least Williams fights JUST like Clottey. Stands there and doesnt throw punches.

my point was mitchell tagged williams at will and is smaller then pac and as far as the quintana fight it showed williams isnt invincible at ww and even a b fighter like quintana could dec him. as far as mentioning clottey and cotto that shows pacs strength and ability to hurt williams because he has proven to be a big puncher at the weight

Quintana beat him because hes a slick, crafty, left handed pure boxer. Pac is not slick at all.

Ofcourse Pac hits hard but you left out the fact that Paul hits hard as well. Paul is also the stronger fighter and the better inside fighter.

Pac would struggle with Williams lefty stance. Whens the last Lefty Pac fought?? Will fought Q twice, Martinez and has had training camps of sparring with Collazo for the Quintana rematch and Quintana sparring for the Martinez fight so hes getting experience. The stance might be a shock more to Pac then Paul.

Pauls problem is slick lefties who will box, move, wait, counter etc... Pac isnt slick. He comes to fight.

Quintana is also longer and rangier then Pac.

The problem with the fight is the range.

Slick?? Well you can say no but the man is crafty as hell and knows how to box. Hes also bigger, stronger, taller and has a longer reach than Manny with a completely different style to boot.

i know mitchell ended up losing to williams but if you rewatch the fight he was tagging williams a lot and if you put pac in mitchells place i dont see how williams gets through the fight. i know williams was younger then but after watching his last few fights he shows a lot of defensive liabilities that make him very vulnerable to some one like pac.

I see what you saying. Good point. I think the Mitchell comparison is some what legit. Because, yes P-Will was young and a prospect but Mitchell was shot and really out of his weight-class.

Well that was in 2006 my dude when Paul was a green prospect and he still KO'd Sharmba and dropped him 4 times.

Lets be fair here in 2006 Pac was hurt by Oscar Larios. Pac wasnt a prospect.

                  Fighters improve bro.

yeah i mentioned that williams was younger but pac at 147 is a completely different animal then he was at lw and from watching williams as of late he still has the same defensive problems he had as a younger fighter. also if he fought pac he would have to fight at a weight that probably wasnt his strongest. im not saying williams has no chance because with his size stamina and workrate he is a tough fight for anyone but i would favor pac.

Fair enough. Im pretty sleepy so we continue this later but Ill leave with this.

At 147 I noticed almost literally EVERYTIME Clottey let his hands go he landed something Flush. And Pacs face was pretty beat up so who knows what happens when Paul lets his fists fly.
