Name one Hopkins fight you've been excited about. The only time I've even budged from the couch during a Hopkins fight since the Tito fight was when Taylor went after him in their first fight and Hopkins wobbled into the ropes. Other than that, what the hell has Hopkins ever done that was exciting to watch?

He's disciplined, and you have to credit him for that. But what does he do that makes you scream and shout when you watch him fight? The only good fight I remember him in was the one with Lewis and the fact that he couldn't take out that 38 year old Lewis who had been laid off for a year and only trained for Vitali for 2 weeks...that told me that Vitali is no great. Decently fun to watch because you know he's winning by KO almost every time, but at the same time not fun because you know the division is so bad that there's no one to give him a decent fight.

give me a round or something. This guy has done nothing for me in years. I'm serious. The last time HE did something exciting was 9 years ago.

Lewis was 37, that's not really that old for a heavyweight. Vitali is almost 39, came back after a 4 year layoff and is still dominating the HW division.

In the interviews before their fight, Lewis said he was very motivated for the fight and wanted to keep fighting for a few more years.

Lewis was coming off the KO win over Tyson. In the Lewis/Tyson post fight interview Lewis stated "I'm like fine wine, I get better with age."

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Lennox got DOMINATED and RETIRED by Vitali Klitschko.
