Is this a serious question? Sanchez by brutal KO. He was WAY better a featherweight than Manny. And this isn't some Manny bashing.

If they exchanged, sal would be one of the fighters i would actually give the edge to over pac because of his short brutal power shots! Pac would get embarassed at 126 by Sal!
not to mention Sal had excellent head movement/foot movement, and slipped punches beautifully.

Thing is that wasn't a prime Azumah Nelson. That was a VERY game Azumah Nelson; credible win for Sanchez but that was NOT a prime Azumah Nelson. A prime Nelson would have been alot more competitive against Sanchez/ could have even beaten him. Remember Nelson only had 13 pro fights at the time.

i understand completely that its a fantasy fight and all. But at 126 Sanchez was a strait beast and has fought better comp then Manny at that weight. He was battle tested and fought imo the hardest puncher the division has ever seen and walked through him. Sanchez is a better boxer than Manny, has a better chin than Manny and hits very hard. If you think Juan Manuel Marquez gave Manny problems, then imagine what a fighter who is faster hits harder and is better at just about everything than JMM, would do to Pac.

Remember that Sanchez was only 22 when he died, and wasnt at his peak either, thats the crazy part. Nelson was even older than Sanchez if i recall right. Nelson would NEVER EVER have beaten Sal.

To be honest a prime Barrera at 126 was just as talent/skilled if not better than Sanchez. As good as Barrera was he still got destroyed by Manny. I actually think it would be a toss up fight, because as limited as Manny was, he was still able to beat a guy I have rated as the 3rd greatest FW of all time.

Might be harsh to say "not on the same planet". Salvador was better than MAB for sure but Marco belongs in the general discussion IMO.
