    I don't think taylor is ready for tito. remember what happened to david reid and fernando vargas. tito can ruin careers of young fighters. hopkins and taylor may never fight, as hopkins is probably gonna retire soon. maybe he'll fight taylor in his last fight? who knows

      [QUOTE=Nautilus]Jermain Taylor Rocks!!!

      He is so dominating in his fight with Joppy that I even quit watching!!!

      Okay, I'm gonna try this again. I just replied in length to this and it told me my mess. was too short!

      anyway, I like Taylor, but got irritated with him after a while. I understand that Joppy is one tough nut and a ko wasnt necessarily in the picture, but when Joppy got frustrated and started showing himself (keeping his arms down, etc) I wish Taylor had got ticked off just enough to unload on him and make the ref. stop it. Now, lets see if it will let me submit this....very weird!

      ( I had to copy and paste this...something's up with the site??)

        That was something I was thinking also tracylee. There had to be a time where Jermaine told himself if he stepped it up he could of stopped Joppy.

          That's a fact! Jermain would hit him 3-4 times in a row and then STOP!!! I kept yelling at him to stop admiring his work and finish it! The ref. looks at them and says "either of you gonna fight" (or something like that) which I think is pretty bad!
          If he had just kept throwing punch after punch, I'm thinking the ref would have been more than glad to stop it. I just dont think theres any reason any scorecard should read 120-107 (and mine did too)

            I stopped scoring the fight about the 7th round thinking it was going to be a stoppage.

                Hello, Tracy. How are you today, girl? Well I was rooting for Joppy although I felt he was a di**head when he started to mock Taylor. Why? Because he was getting whooped bigtime. But to be fair, I thought Joppy deserved a round. Rounds 1 and 3 were competitive, in my opinion. Joppy's jab was looking good in the early going.

                  Doing ok...thanks I understand Joppy getting frustrated, and I'll give him credit for being tough and not going down...but if I had given him a round it would honestly have been a pity round..sorry. The ole underdog had me pulling for him too after the first 3 rd's, but lost me when he started showing himself. I do remember everybody posting after the Marquez fight that they wanted to see him in against Joppy, a real middle wt...so, after last night I gotta say 'careful what you wish for'??

                    Round one thru three were competitive but Taylor still was getting the better of Joppy in my opinion.

                      Well Tracy, like I said, those first rounds were competitive but not clear, so I won't say that Joppy deserved them hands down.
