Is there even enough money for Floyd in a fight with Martinez? Do the casual fans even know who Martinez is??
I think people want Floyd to move up to middleweight because they do not see any challeneges for him at @147

What happen to wanting Floyd to clean out 147 then retire?

Sergio Martinez wouldn't be that much bigger.

I figure Floyd would weigh something like 156-158 on fight night and Sergio 166 or so. So we're talking about a 10lb weight differential at most.

Now that he is a natural welterweight people want him to moved up to middleweight.

Wont happen because he ducked Pacquiao.

He will never fight Sergio either.

*****s seem to think Floyd has stopped being a cherry picker just because he fought a 38 year old Mosley

Fight wont happen cause Martinez is not known among the casual fans. Mayweather vs Martinez wouldn't sell alot so it wouldn't ever happen well i dont think anyway plus it's to much of a risky fight for Mayweather if he lost to essentially a nobody for the casual fans.

lol yeah thats how it is high expectations low credit. I think its driven by this sudden thought that floyd blows up to well above 150 too though which i don't really buy. I wouldn't mind watching this fight though. I want the fight that would once and for all prove floyd is the better fighter than pac first though.

Two words. "It's possible" That's all Floyd needed to say for the media storm to arise.
