someone could have tested Mayweather around the same time, that's the thing about 24/7 it tends to mess with the timeline of what's actually happening and what had happened, that test was something like 10 days before the fight although it aired 3 days before.

People need to understand that every single thing about a boxing match is negotiated before they walk into the ring. When Oscar fought Floyd, he (Oscar) got his choice of ring size, the usage of Reyes gloves and the venue of his choosing. Why do they negotiate? It's because there isn't a standardized boxing commission to enforce things. Manny was perfectly within correct limits to impose a 10 mill per pound on Floyd as Floyd was to ask for additional drug testing. Floyd accepted while Manny balked. Floyd wasn't asking Manny to do something that he wasn't going to commit to himself. As shown with 24/7 and the USADA speaking out about the fight, Floyd was a consummate professional. He was able to still live his life, they were watching the basketball game at his home. Shane was too, he was talking about going bowling with them. When cost is used as the excuse as to why the NASC doesn't already have this in place, that is sad in itself. Do you know how pathetic it is read a headline like this.

Tour de France to increase drug testing

The French anti-doping agency has asked the International Cycling Union (UCI) for authorisation to perform additional tests during the Tour de France.
And yet we have people here aruging, saying that the test we have now is ok?

Cycling is a non contact sport. Boxing is a contact sport. Why is cycling above and beyond what boxing is doing? Why is it that the cycling community can test people between stages yet we are to accept a 14 day cutoff as if that is acceptable? Do it right or don't do it at all. However, given the dire state of things, it needs to be done. What the doping agency is basically asking the cycling community to do is to test them between rounds when they test the cyclists after stages. The USADA isn't asking for in-fight testing, they just want testing leading up to the fight. Drug testing in boxing is a farce until this gets corrected.

this is all bull****, Floyd is CEO of the USADA and it was all a ploy to blood drain Mosley....and later this year Pacquiao.

Yeah but Mosley didn't want to miss weight. It had to have been the day before the weigh in or very close to it.

it couldn't have been cause he was just leaving big bear for vegas, it had to be at least a week before the fight. Mosley was just already having to start to dehydrate himself for the fight.

You do have a point there. Just that I found it weird how they didn't wait untill Mosley can give urine. But w/e, this isn't really an issue.
